The Maple Corner Woodworks beds are designed with a superb platform, eliminating the need for a box spring (although can be made in that style). All beds feature ten wide slats that securely interlock with hardwood dowels on the side rails, and side rails are joined to the head and footboards with heavy-duty cast hangers. King and California King sizes include a center-reinforced support that attaches to the head and foot boards via drop-in hardware, providing strong under-bed stability and full access to under-bed space without a center leg.
